Week 8 Update: His Body is Giving Out. Will We Let Him Down?
60% of the grueling run is completed. But only 24% of the crucial donations have been raised.
Look closely at the video from Day 53. This is the raw, unedited reality of running 1,330 km.
You see SG Lim stepping into the pitch-black darkness at 4:00 AM. You see him pushing through exhaustion under a scorching sun.
But look at the end. That is pure, agonizing pain. He is grimacing, gripping his leg, and crying out as severe muscle cramps rack his body. His feet are so swollen that just putting on a sandal is a battle.
He is sacrificing his health. He is doing his part. We are falling behind on ours.
The Heartbreaking Gap:
SG Lim is nearly two-thirds of the way to the finish line, but the funds needed to support children fighting cancer are stuck at the starting gate.
The Physical Journey: 60% completed. 54 days of grueling roads behind him, only 32 days left to run.
The Financial Reality: Only 24% collected—RM 145,000 raised out of a RM 600,000 target.
The brutal truth: SG Lim is running out of miles, and these children are running out of time. He is enduring blisters and crippling cramps so these kids don't have to fight alone. He shouldn't have to carry the weight of this fundraising target alone, either.
Close the Gap. Back His Bravery.
With less than 40% of the journey left until June 21st, let’s ensure that when SG Lim crosses the final finish line, he celebrates a financial lifeline for these children.
Don’t just watch his pain—relieve it. Every single Ringgit counts.
Be his voice. Share this video.
Wake up your corporate networks, friends, and family. Let’s bring that 24% up to where it belongs.
