EGEA Bratislava je lokálnou pobočkou EGEA (European Geography Association for Students and Young Geographers). entitách. Bratislavská entita bola založená v 90.

Tvoria ju predovšetkých študenti geografie z Prírodovedeckej Fakulty UK v Bratislave. EGEA (skratka z European Geography Association for students and young geographers) predstavuje celoeurópsku sieť študentov geografie a blízkych odborov, ktorí sú zoskupení v tzv. rokoch a svoju činnosť znovuobnovila v r. 2003/2004. Aktívna je dodnes. Jej členmi sú študenti a mladí absolventi geografie na Prírodovedeckej fakulte Univerzity Komenského.

ENG Dear EGEAns, we are very happy to invite you for a Wine hike in the Little Carpathians on Saturday 13th June 2026! ☀️ We are going to make an easy hike, learn something about vineyard areas in Slovakia 🍇 , visit Biely kameň castle ruins 🏰 and end our hike in a wine cellar in Svätý Jur or Limbach. 🍷 Stay tuned for more infomation! 👀

Five days of crazy bikepacking adventure followed by five days of gaining new knowledge, joy, laughter and unforgettable memories - that was 🇱🇻 for our CP 🇸🇰 He is already quite an EGEA fossil, but he honestly thinks this was the best congress he has ever attended (followed by AC19 in Jeseníky 🇨🇿, ERC22 in Mazury 🇵🇱 and AC22 in Szentendre 🇭🇺 all on 2nd place 😁) Everything was perfectly organised and the orgateam was always kind, friendly and ready to help ❤️

ENG From 5th to 6th December we had a lovely visit from EGEA Vienna and EGEA Graz 🇦🇹
We started our journey by visiting various Christmas markets in the Old Town. 🍭We climbed to the top of the town hall tower, from where we had a wonderful view of the Christmas markets. 🎪Subsequently, we visited a cult bar with a KGB theme, where we had the traditional drink Grepovička.🍊 After that we moved on to the night life at a karaoke bar where we ended the first part of our day. 🎤
The next day we started with breakfast in a cafe, from where we continued on the city tour. 🔍 We had the opportunity to see traditional medieval markets at Bratislava Castle. 🎯After that we moved back to the center where we had lunch in the Eurovea shopping center. 🛒 Our 'XMAS exchange' ended with a visit of the blue church. ⛪ We had a lot of fun and can't wait to meet our new friends somewhere in Europe! 😎 Merry Christmas 🎄

SVK Od 5. do 6. decembra sme privítali v Bratislave milú návštevu z EGEA Viedeň a EGEA Graz 🇦🇹
Našu výpravu sme začali návštevou rôznych vianočných trhov v Starom Meste. 🍭Vystúpili sme na vrchol radničnej veže, odkiaľ sme sa pokochali nádherným výhľadom na vianočné trhy. 🎪 Následne sme navštívili kultový bar s tematikou KGB, kde sme si dali tradičný nápoj Grepovička.🍊Následne sme sa presunuli za nočným životom do karaoke baru, kde sme zakončili prvú časť nášho dňa. 🎤
Nasledujúci deň sme začali raňajkami v kaviarni, odkiaľ sme pokračovali v prehliadke mesta. 🔍 Mali sme taktiež možnosť vidieť tradičné stredoveké trhy na Bratislavskom hrade. 🎯 Potom sme sa presunuli späť do centra, kde sme si dali obed v nákupnom centre Eurovea. 🛒 Naša púť sa skončila návštevou modrého kostolíka. ⛪ Veľmi sme sa zabavili a už sa nevieme dočkať, kedy sa niekde v Európe stretneme s našimi novými priateľmi! 😎 Veselé Vianoce 🎄

EGEA Karstic Weekend 2025, which we organised together with EGEA Brno, EGEA Ostrava and EGEA Praha from 7th to 10th August took place in the National Park Slovak Karst in the beautiful Gemer region. We are happy that we could show this beautiful part of our country to our friends from all over Europe. It is often marked with many negative stereotypes but in fact it's unbelievably rich with both natural and cultural heritage sites 🙂
We are curious who is going to organise a karstic weekend in 2026, cause we think that this beautiful tradition should continue 🙂

represented our entity at this year's amazing in Romania 🇷🇴 He attended very interesting workshop about tourism in Romania before and after fall of communism, went on a hike to Retezat National Park, enjoyed the evening and leisure actvities and during the regional meeting he had an opportunity to present that we are organising in August 🙂 He also spent amazing time in Budapest both on the way to and from the congress 🙂 Now he is missing all the amazing people that he met there and cannot wait to see them somewhere in Europe 😍

From 29th April till 3rd May and .b attended .erc as a part of the orgateam 😊 It was a lovely event organised in the beautiful spa town Mariánské Lázně and besides helping with the congress organisation they also attended a workshop focused on Mobility shifts and had a wonderful time with their friends from all around of Europe 🌍 It was also great to meet up with the Alumni who also had a meeting in Mariánské Lázně and joined us for the evening programme on the last 2 days 🙂Even though our entity is struggling right now, many people at the congress encouraged us and gave us some useful advice how to become more active again 🙂 We are already missing our EGEA friends and hope to see then soon at .ac2024 or some summer events 🙂

Československé víkendy 🇨🇿🇸🇰 sú vždy plné nezabudnuteľných chvíľ s ľuďmi, s ktorými môžeme byť sami sebou - t. j. geografmi srdcom aj dušou 🌍. Tento rok po nás štafetu v organizovaní prevzala a nám nezostáva nič iné, než skonštatovať, že odviedli perfektnú prácu ❤️ Ďakujeme a už sa nemôžeme dočkať, kedy sa znovu uvidíme! 😍
