👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Planning: Empowering Families, Improving Lives

Family planning allows individuals and couples to decide freely and responsibly the number of children they want and the timing between pregnancies. It is an important part of reproductive health that promotes healthier mothers, healthier babies, and stronger families.

Benefits of family planning include:

✅ Reducing risks associated with closely spaced pregnancies.
✅ Improving maternal and child health outcomes.
✅ Allowing families to plan their education, finances, and future.
✅ Preventing unintended pregnancies.
✅ Giving women and couples the freedom to make informed health decisions.

Family planning methods include condoms, pills, injectables, implants, intrauterine devices (IUDs), and other safe options provided by trained healthcare workers.

💙 Every woman and every couple has the right to access accurate information and quality reproductive health services.

Plan Your Family. Protect Your Health. Build a Better Future.

👶 The First 28 Days Matter Most. Protect Every Newborn.

The neonatal period—the first 28 days of life—is the most critical time for a baby’s survival. Many newborn deaths can be prevented with simple, timely care.

💙 Ensure delivery is attended by a skilled health worker.
🤱 Start breastfeeding within the first hour after birth and breastfeed exclusively for the first 6 months.
🌡️ Keep your baby warm through skin-to-skin contact and appropriate clothing.
🧼 Practice good hand hygiene and keep the umbilical cord clean and dry.
💉 Follow the recommended newborn check-ups and immunization schedule.
🚨 Seek immediate medical care if your baby has difficulty breathing, refuses to feed, has a fever or feels unusually cold, develops yellow eyes or skin, or has convulsions.

Every newborn deserves a healthy start. Early care saves lives.

Healthy Newborns. Healthy Families. Stronger Communities. 💙
