The National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS) proudly commemorated World Blood Donor Day 2026 at its headquarters in Juba, under the inspiring theme:

"One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives."

The event was graced and officially honored by the Hon. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, who applauded voluntary blood donors for their selfless contributions in saving lives across South Sudan.

Today, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Hon. Thok Turuk Thok, visited the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) Headquarters in Juba and generously donated blood in support of voluntary blood donation.

While donating, Hon. Thok encouraged all South Sudanese to come forward and donate blood, emphasizing that blood donation is not only a humanitarian act but also a healthy exercise for donors.
