✨ Passion fruit is a small oval/round tropical fruit the size of an egg. The skin’s color varies with hues of dark purple and red. Below the skin is a cottony white peel.
The interior seed cavity of passion fruit is filled with edible yellow to green jelly and medium sized black seeds. The fragrant flesh contains many small black seeds which are a very good source of dietary fiber.

🌿 There are so many fresh market all around Bangkok.

Shopping at your local market helps reduce carbon emissions. Less travel time, closer than your regular supermarket and no air-conditioning using so much energy! ♻️

By shopping at your local market you also support local communities and are able to choose produces that are not plastic packaged 👏

Here are some of my local market tips:
1️⃣ bring your own reusable shopping bag
2️⃣ buy from vendors that do not plastic package their produces
3️⃣ politely refuse any plastic bag offered by the vendors and show that you already have your own
4️⃣ buy your produces from different stalls instead of a single vendor. This helps spread your support across the community.
5️⃣ don't hesitate to ask questions, such as where the products are coming from. Farmers are very knowledgeable about there produces.
