I’ve always loved to make Sundays as my reset day - spending time in nature, sauna + cold plunge, reading, rest.

But I’ve also realized that optimization is like a branch of hustle culture

Now instead of just resting, we gotta rest *productively* lol

Netflix = lazy and red light therapy = productive rest ??

I do my best to discern how to lean into deep rest vs. active rest such as a sauna and a hike. Sometimes you need both.

It all comes down to learning to listen to my body, it’s a skill and I’m still working on that part 🤍

I reaaalllly love sauna and cold plunge tho. Especially as a sober girly, it’s a fun way to connect with friends.

I see this pattern a lot with new clients. They are trying something they’ve seen popularized online and wonder why it doesn’t work for them.

Nutrition is simple buuuut there are some details that are important you tailor to your lifestyle and unique needs.

For me in this example, I should have just been eating normal sized, balanced meals to keep me satiated.
