If you struggle with your mental health, stress, anxiety or depression, you can transform your wellbeing through breathwork.

Suppressed emotions cause nervous system dysregulation and show up in the form of mental disorders and neurosis.

Practicing breathwork in a safe space with a qualified faciliator will allow your system to release and integrate old and stuck emotions that are dysregulating your system and stopping you from moving forward.

Sound healing is a beautiful complement to breathwork. The healing frequencies of the bowls immediately take you to a state of meditation, allowing the mind to relax.

In breathwork, a lot of the healing and release of emotional blockages come from the reclaiming and *allowing* of suppressed emotion to rise to the surface. You might understand emotion as energy, and you'll notice that that energy is usually expressed as sound (eg. whooping for joy, or fear as screaming or anger as growling).

When emotions are suppressed because either it was unacceptable, or maybe, as a child, it was outside the bandwidth of your nervous system to understand and process, the sensation of the emotion is rejected but also the sound is stopped. The 'potential' seed of this interrupted frequency remains 'trapped' the body, unexpressed.

For every ungerminated seed of emotion held in the body, there is a an energetic cost. The more unresolved feelings the mind is silently suppressing, the higher the energetic requirement of the psyche to main status quo.

Sound therapy bathes your body is frequency to help return your body to the frequency of health, encouraging the trapped frequencies to rise and release. We are all vibration, but the vibration must keep flowing. Sound Healing encourages these blockages to become unstuck, so that energy can flow freely once again.

In a breathwork session you reconnect back to yourself and your heart. The technique is to connect consciously to the breath, and to merge the inhales into the exhales. Almost like an active meditation, focused on the breath.

This conscious connection to and rhythmic circling of the breath quiets the mind and awakens your awareness to your subconscious, giving you deeper access to the emotions just below the level of your awareness.

In this trance state you can receive new insights, inspiration and motivation. You can resolve old childhood woulds - often things that you believed long forgotten or buried. And you can experience a deep sense of self, joy and ecstasy. Any feelings of being burned out and stuck can be cleared. When you do this, you can become more resilient, more patient, more present and more loving ❤

Often a single breathwork session is a whole journey where you end up knowing yourself much better than before, drawing the answers you often seek outside of yourself from deep within.

Breathwork is amazing at calming the nervous system. Deep breathing with others in a space where you feel safe and held is therapy, and a mind and heart medicine too.

In breathwork, there is conscious and intentional connection to the breath.

In a breathwork session, such as what I facilitate, the breath is rhythmic and cyclical, starting slowly and then gaining in strength as prana is built and the breath starts to take over. This creates a trance state where we gain deeper access to the emotions stored below the surface of our awareness.

In my own experience, and in the workshops and 121s I have taught, unresolved childhood wounds, forgotten traumas (big or small) or ecstatic states come to the surface. Exciting insights and inspiration can arise, and the connection to oneself is deepened.

If you feel stressed, burned out or stuck, there  might be too much emotion held in your  nervous system, keeping you in your fight or  flight. Unprocessed experiences can suppress the breath and distort the breathing pattern. The diaphram is key to restoring optimal breathing and tapping into this space of healing.

Breathwork is amazing at calming the nervous system by releasing  stuck emotions and  creating emotional shifts and change from within. Toxic emotions and beliefs and dysfunctional behaviour patterns can be resolved. Deep breathing with others in a space where you feel safe and held is is a therapy and a mind and heart medicine.

I'm currently offering private online breath work sessions (1.5 hours) - DM me for more info & rates if you want to explore the power of the breath. I'll otherwise be back in London early next year and am excited to offer in person workshops and 121 sessions
