One week to go until our panel discussion "Malaria, Medicine, and Hope: Standing with Myanmar" on campus at The Australian National University.
Our line-up of panellists includes:
⭐Virginia Haussegger AM is a journalist, television presenter, author and 2019 ACT Australian of the Year Awards.
⭐Prof Rose McGready is the 2026 ACT Australian of the Year Awards for her work in migrant and refugee health on the Thai-Myanmar border.
⭐Dr Hannah Kelly is a postdoctoral scientist at ANU, whose research centres on innovative vaccine technologies for infectious diseases, in particular malaria.
⭐Dr Phyu Phyu Thin Zaw is a Myanmar Australian Fellow at the University of Melbourne and ANU, a medical doctor, and an epidemiologist.
