A night of learning, connection and continuing professional development🫁🩻

Members of RheumatologyTT recently attended an engaging presentation on ‘Using Spirometry to Identify Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Patients’, led by Dr. Shiva Jaggernauth.

The session provided valuable insights into the role of spirometry in recognising and assessing COPD. Spirometry is not only an important tool in the evaluation of patients with COPD, but can also play a valuable role in detecting early respiratory involvement in patients with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, many of which can be associated with pulmonary complications.
