透過身體工作,情緒療癒其實蘊藏著巨大而尚未被充分開發的潛力。
這不是理想化的幻想。這樣的工作是真實存在的,世界各地已有許多身體工作者正在使用這些方法。但我們仍然是少數。
大多數人面對情緒困擾時,會尋求心理師的協助。心理師會傾聽、提供洞察,並幫助當事人發展面對當下處境的策略。這是有價值的。被真正地傾聽,本身就具有療癒力量。
對於較嚴重的心理健康狀況,人們也可能尋求精神科醫師的協助,包括藥物治療。
我並不認為這些方式是錯的。但我確實相信,透過身體來工作,仍然存在一種被低估的潛力。若未來能在適當專業監督下被整合進正式照護系統,它或許能成為某些情緒問題更有力的途徑。
必須說明的是,在醫療體系正式承認這些方法之前,我不能宣稱自己提供任何療癒。任何在我的個人療程中發生的轉變,都只能被視為一種美好的副作用。
為什麼這會有效?
因為情緒並不是像電腦軟體一樣漂浮在我們體內。它們深深嵌入我們的身體之中,並在我們作為一個擁有身體的人,男性或女性的生命經驗裡,獲得其意義。
當一個人感到恐懼時,整個身體都會回應。肩膀緊縮,呼吸改變,肌肉收縮,注意力變窄。
試著想像一個害怕的人。光是身體,就已經說出了故事。
憤怒、悲傷、羞愧、信任、喜悅,以及許多其他情緒,也都是如此。
以我的觀點來看,所謂情緒問題,往往是某些感受,例如受傷,被強烈而反覆地經驗,直到它成為神經系統中的慣性模式。
而當痛苦的感受升起時,人類往往會與它切斷連結。我們把它推離意識,送入潛意識之中。
但被推開的東西,並不會因此消失。
它仍然在暗處影響著我們,像一個隱形的操偶師。
而這黑暗的中心,在我們體內何處存在?
就在身體的核心:腹部、橫膈膜、骨盆。
有些較科學導向的讀者可能會說:「不,這一切都來自大腦。」
他們在某個層面是對的,但在另一個層面則並不完整。
是的,無意識的制約也會在大腦中留下印記,但整體的經驗同樣深深存在於遍布全身的神經系統之中,尤其是在核心部位:骨盆、腹部與橫膈膜。
透過在療程空間中創造安全與自由,透過有意識的觸碰、呼吸引導,以及身體覺察,我們便有可能進入這片黑暗領域,讓那些隱藏的模式被釋放,回到愛與光之中。

There is a great, largely untapped potential for emotional healing through bodywork.
This is not an idealistic fantasy. This work exists, and many bodyworkers around the world are already using it. But we are still a small minority.
Most people, when facing emotional struggles, turn to a psychologist who listens, offers insight, and helps them develop strategies for their situation. This can be valuable. The simple act of being deeply heard can itself be healing.
For more serious mental health conditions, people may also seek psychiatric support, including medication.
I do not believe these approaches are wrong. But I do believe that working through the body still holds an underestimated potential. If one day integrated into formal care under appropriate professional supervision, it may become a more powerful path for certain emotional issues.
To be clear, until medical systems officially recognize these methods, I cannot claim to offer healing. Any change that happens through my private sessions must be seen as a positive side effect.
Why can this work?
Because emotions are not floating inside us like software in a computer. They are embedded in our bodies and have meaning to us in the context of having a body, female or male.
When someone feels fear, the whole body responds. Shoulders tighten. Breath changes. Muscles contract. Awareness narrows.
Take a moment to imagine a frightened person. Their body tells the story immediately.
The same is true for anger, grief, shame, trust, joy, and many other emotions.
From my perspective, emotional issues often arise when certain feelings, such as hurt, are experienced strongly and repeatedly until they become habitual patterns in the nervous system.
Then, because painful feelings are uncomfortable, we often disconnect from them. We push them out of awareness and into the unconscious.
But what is pushed away does not disappear.
It continues to influence us from the shadows, like a hidden puppet master.
And where does the center of this darkness exist in us?
In the core of the body: belly, diaphragm, pelvis.
Some scientifically minded readers may say, “No, it all comes from the brain.”
They are right in one sense, and incomplete in another.
Yes, unconscious conditioning also has an imprint in the brain, but the overall experience is deeply embedded in the nervous system throughout the body, and especially in the core: pelvis, belly, and diaphragm.
By creating safety and freedom in the session room, and by using conscious touch, breathwork, and intentional body awareness, it becomes possible to tap into this realm of darkness and let those hidden patterns be released into love and light.
