Zanzibar is a paradiseโ€ฆ
๐ŸŒฟ A tamarind tree by the sea.

Here, itโ€™s called Ukwaju in Kiswahili.

And guess what? ๐Ÿ‘€
Jamaica has the same fruit. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Different islands.
Different names.
Same fruit. Same connection. ๐ŸŒ

Maybe the connection runs deeper than geography.

๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ I LOVE CAIRO โœจ
Where Comes Alive
Tonight, I stepped into a world where history, , food, music, and spirituality meet.
From the and ancient symbols to the energy of the people, the dancing, the flavors, and the golden atmosphereโ€” Cairo is more than a name.
Itโ€™s a feeling.
Itโ€™s a story.
Itโ€™s a connection to something ancient. ๐ŸŒโœจ

See Africa Through My Eyes
One journey.
Two brothers.
Three breadfruit.
Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ returning to the Motherland,
one step at a time.

Riding the tour with Zheal through the streets of Dar es Salaam, we made our way to a breadfruit tree โ€” a true Jamaican experience growing right here in Africa.

From Jamaica to Tanzania, the journey continues.

See Africa Through My Eyes. Feeding turtles in Zanzibar. At the Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond, I felt a quiet connection to something much older than myself. The best journeys change your soul.

See Africa through my eyes โ€” Return to Africa.

This Earthstrong, my journey brought me to the peaceful shores of Nungwi, Zanzibar, where the sea turtle became more than a creature; it became a teacher.

The turtle reminds us that life isnโ€™t a race. It represents peace, patience, resilience, longevity, and quiet strength. A reminder that healing takes time, and every journey has its own rhythm.

As I continue my Return to Africa journey, nature keeps reminding me that some of lifeโ€™s greatest wisdom is found in the wild.

What has nature taught you lately?

journey from Jamaica to Africa, seeing lions and giraffes up close.itโ€™s just unforgettable. It fueled my single Power Taps. Would you take that journey? And yeah, no fluff, just real excitement.

Jamaican in Africa, standing face to face with a gentle giant. In this wild moment, time feels slow, almost ancient. Some of these tortoises can live for more than 200 years. Itโ€™s like the earth whispering, โ€˜Slow down, be here. ๐ŸŒ .

Malaria tested me in ways I never imagined.

The fever, pain, sweating, weakness, and uncertainty were real. As a Jamaican living in Tanzania, this was my first experience battling malaria, and it became one of the toughest challenges of my life.

During recovery, fresh jelly coconut water helped me stay hydrated when I was at my weakest. Alongside proper medical treatment and rest, it became part of my healing journey.

Day by day, my strength returned. The fever faded. The pain lifted. My body fought back.

Today, I can proudly say: I survived. I am better now.

This is not a story about fear. It is a story about resilience, recovery, gratitude, and respecting both nature and health.

From Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ to Tanzania ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฟ โ€” a journey of survival, healing, and strength.

Nature. Medicine. Rest. Faith. I Survived.
