Let Hope Arise Africa

Let Hope Arise Africa Let Hope Arise Africa is about skills development, education services, sports, wash, among others HOPE – expectation, desire, confidence in the future.

The opposite of Hope is hopeless (despair, pessimistic). So we are contrasting the difference between having a positive vision of future possibilities rather than being destined to be caught in the trap of poverty. There is so much untapped talent in Africa! Sadly for many without good education, this talent will not be realised. Just in one district alone in eastern Uganda there is a shortfall of

1,000 classrooms. So the children study in grass huts. Average class size is 140 children. So ‘Let Hope Arise’ wants to find some of these children and make a difference for them and their families. We want to create opportunities to develop and mentor young talent. We do this by having a network of partnerships especially in Uganda who bring individuals and communities to our attention. So we work one person at a time. To discover a Nelson Mandela is our dream. Individuals who can make a difference like ‘D’, from western Uganda. Educated in poor schooling in Arua, he taught himself. Accepted on a medical degree but with no money to attend university. Now through a partnership of fundraisers, he has started at Kampala International University studying Medicine and Surgery. The first ever in his clan to train as a doctor.
