My silence means I am tired of explaining my feelings to you but now I don’t have the energy to explain them anymore. My silence means I have adapted to the changes in my life and I don’t want to complain. My silence means I am on a self healing process and I am trying to forget everything I ever wanted from you. I am appalled at the reports of modern day slave trade, happening in 2017 on the African continent. Humans are auctioned like animals in Libyan markets.

You and I cannot pretend that this is not happening. This shocking reality, disgusting as it is should not be downplayed. World- RISE UP, SPEAK UP, ACT. Together let us condemn those heartless beasts who profit from human slavery.

With the raising numbers of single young mothers in Uganda today, will this government initiative help to defy the challenges that are affecting them and there children?

All mothers to receive sh23,000: Nakiwala Kiyingi

Govt will, starting next financial year give mothers with children under the age of 2 a monthly allowance of sh23,000, according to the state minister for youth and children affairs Nakiwala Kiyingi. She says this will reduce poverty rates.
The money will be sent via mobile money.
Will this bring Uganda's poverty levels down? What do you think?
