🧠 Do you ever read the same sentence… over and over again?
You start reading. A few lines in, you realize you didn't absorb anything.
So you go back. Read it again. And somehow… you're still thinking about something completely different. 😅
You're not necessarily bad at reading. Sometimes, your brain simply has too much competing for its attention.
A notification pops up. You remember something you need to do. Your mind jumps to tomorrow's schedule. You think about an unfinished task.
And suddenly, you're staring at the same paragraph for the third time. Reading isn't just about seeing words. Your brain needs to pay attention, hold information, connect ideas, and make sense of what you're reading.
When your attention is constantly being pulled in different directions, comprehension can become much harder.
So the next time you catch yourself rereading the same sentence, try:
📵 Put your phone away for a few minutes.
🎯 Focus on one task at a time.
⏱️ Take short breaks when your mind feels tired.
💭 Pause occasionally and ask, “What did I just read?”
😴 Don't underestimate the importance of good sleep.
Because sometimes…
You don't need to read faster.
You just need to give your brain fewer things to think about. 🧠✨
