ICE and CBP are already terrible, but now, recent revelations have revealed rampant s*xual violence at CBP and ICE! There are more than 170 records of these incidents that have been reported-- and can you guess how this is happening? Through the continued funding of ICE and CBP! That's why we're asking you to take a stand against ICE and call congressional rep Monica de la Cruz and tell her-- "No more money for ICE and CBP!"

We had a great time at the 2026 South Central Climate Resilience Forum. Our workshop, "Picture This: Building Trust and Inclusion in Climate Adaptation through Photo Voice" was conducted to a full house! We are glowing from the praise and encouraged by the ideas generated during the workshop. We'd also like to thank those who generously opened their pocketbooks and donated to our org. We are grateful for your time and belief in our mission. We hope the lived stories of the border continue to permeate into the mainstream decision- making process for policy administrators across the US. Lastly we want to uplift our collaborators at Adaptation International and Planet Texas for believing in our community work! Your efforts to amplify our message are incredible and so appreciated!

We had an amazing time reflecting on World Water Day yesterday! We started the day off with a hike at the Olmito Nature Trail with the .queerrunclub in Brownsville and invited folks who joined us to for our Photo Voice exhibition! Thanks to all folks who made it out to either event. 🙌 It was a beautiful day spent with some amazing folks and we couldn't be happier to have y'all. The exhibition will be up for two weeks, so if you weren't able to make it, there's still some time to check out some thoughtful personal narratives about our local water resources. Special thank you to for the beautiful retama floral arrangements for this event and to .caretaker.of.the.land for their lovely poetry.
