I’ve been terrible about posting my tattoo work lately…some times life and my regula full time jobs just takes a ton of energy….buuuuuut I had to post these lippies I just did today. Some may remember the client that came to me to help reshape her lips a few months ago. Top lip was very assymetrical when we started. She came back today all the way from Tillamook to have me touch up her lips from our first session…look at the first pic from before the first time I got my hands on her vs today…..you want your lips done, I’m your girl!!!!

Denise  was one of my first lip, blush clients outside of school almost 3 years ago.  Yesterday she came to me all the way from Coos Bay to get her lips, redone and color refreshed and boosted.  her color stayed pretty well on the top lip, but her bottom lip was almost gone. Part of this is from not getting them refreshed for so long and I think the other huge part of this was that I was brand new out of school and still learning how much pigment to implant and how much pressure to use.  I love that I have clients that still come back to me and I’m able to see the work I did when I first got out of school versus the work. I do now that I have more experience under my belt. It was great to catch up.

I had a client come to me today on her birthday all the way from Tillamook after hearing about me from one of my other client’s. Her lips were done previously by another artist from her area. This client’s Lip Blush was done with a color that I felt didn’t go well with her skin tone as well as her top lip no longer had symmetry due to improper shaping being done. She was terrified to have them redone again because she said how painful it was previously. I explained in much detail the process I do and how well I numb my clients before and through out their procedure. I went over my concerns with her top lip shape and let her know the risks and benefits to me attempting to correct her shape the best I could. She put so much trust in me and had heard such good things that she even allowed me to decide what color to pick that would work well with her beautiful skin tone. This right here is exactly why this is my passion. This is what I love. Challenge is something I’ve never been afraid of but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little nervous. My words to her before starting “I cant promise I can make them perfect, but I can promise they will look better than they do now”

After mixing some colors I thought would compliment her skin, I went to work.

I UNDERPROMISED and OVER DELIVERED just like my instructors taught me back in school.

Aaaaaand she said she had very little to no pain this time!

A little bit more swelling on one side but that is normal and is usually gone within 24/48 hours with some icing.

Colors Used: 1/2 Dusty Pink, 1/2 N**e, 2 drops Magenta

Melissa Slover decided she wanted to go a lot darker and more bold at her brow touchup session tonight. Her first session she healed so light and soft that we had to change it up including pigements used. These will still soften and lighten 30-50% with healing but will give her closer to what she wants now. One brow was being extremely stubborn so it took a lot more work hence why she is more swollen and red on that brow

Sunday’s are for Lippies….Pretty and Vibrant Lip Blush for my client today. She did bruise quite a bit as you can see where the darker areas are. This is a common thing that can happen but with some icing this will subside fairly quick. Color will soften and lighten 30-50% with healing.

Saturday’s start with Lip Blush for Keely Driggs…look how pretty this turned out. Her lips did bruise along the edges and randomly throughout the lips but that and the swelling will usually subside within the first 24 hours. Edges will soften and color will fade 30-50% with healing
