A new dental school is coming to New York! 🦷🏫

The University of Rochester will establish the Eastman School of Dentistry, with a planned DMD program pending approval by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and New York State.

Governor Hochul announced $48.3 million in awards through the Healthcare Access Loan Repayment (HEALR) Program, including awards for 43 New York dentists.

Dentists are eligible to receive up to $100,000 in student loan repayment in exchange for a four-year commitment to serving New York State Medicaid members and/or uninsured individuals.
