You wouldn't run a business on one number. So why read a body on one?
If you ran a company off a single line on a spreadsheet, you'd miss the whole story, and you know it. A great leader reads the signals together: cash flow AND morale AND the pipeline AND the quiet things nobody flagged. One "green" metric never means everything's fine.
So here's the question worth sitting with: why does a rushed panel get to look at one number, see "in range," and decide your exhaustion is settled?
Your gut, hormones, energy, sleep and mood are one conversation. When that conversation drifts out of line, everything runs a little worse at once, and no single line on a lab report can explain a whole tired life.
Being read across the whole system, optimal, not just normal, is a different kind of listening. You are not a reference range.
If this reframes something for you, save it or send it to the woman who's been told she's "fine." π
