We are honored to share Steffan’s incredible story through the eyes of someone who knows him best, his mom, Janet.

Steffan’s journey is one of strength, perseverance, and resilience. From overcoming a life-changing accident at a young age to finding joy through music, exercise, and Special Olympics, Steffan continues to inspire those around him.

A special thank you to Janet for sharing Steffan’s story and giving us a glimpse into what makes him shine. 🌟

🎯 USA Games Spotlight: Desiree & Ryan 🎯

Congratulations to Desiree and Ryan for representing Team New Mexico in Bocce at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

After more than a year of training, they competed on the national stage, made new friends from across the country, and proudly represented New Mexico every step of the way.

Their hard work led to some incredible accomplishments. Desiree earned a gold medal in doubles and a silver medal in singles. Ryan earned a bronze medal in doubles and placed 4th in singles.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Congratulations on an unforgettable experience and an amazing achievement!

🏀 USA Games Spotlight: Gabe 🏀

Join us in celebrating Gabe for representing Team New Mexico at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota!

Gabe and his basketball team had an unforgettable experience, even traveling to the Games aboard the Arizona Cardinals team plane. After an exciting week of competition, the team earned two hard fought victories and brought home bronze medals with a 3rd place finish in their division. 🥉

We are so proud of Gabe’s dedication, teamwork, and determination.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment and thank you for representing Team New Mexico and the Thrive NM community with pride!
