Eat the Rainbow!
Support your local farmers market or head to the store and find three fruits and/or veggies of various colors to eat this week. Eating a variety of plant fibers can help increase gut microbiome diversity and a variety of polyphenols that serve different purposes. Blue and Purple Produce supports brain and health and antiaging.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time: 5-7 minutes

Servings: 6 Calories: 406 Fat: 20g Carb: 31g Fiber: 4g Protein: 30g

Ingredients
1 lb cooked ground turkey or chicken (season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper)
1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1 package of Flat Out Flatbread Pizza Crusts (or your favorite crust)
8 oz package of shredded Mozzarella (Kraft Creamy Melt)
6 Turkey Pepperonis
1/2 cup Onion, diced
1 cup Bell Peppers
Optional: ¼ C pizza sauce or marinara sauce for dipping Or Terri’s Favorite Ranch Dip (see below)

Preheat oven to 425. Lay Flat Outs out on a baking sheet and brush with oil. Bake for 3-5 minutes to crisp the flatbread. Pull from the oven and top each pizza with a small amount of cheese (this keeps the toppings on). Next, evenly divide the ground turkey or chicken amongst the flatbreads. Add pepperonis to each flatbread and then sprinkle with diced onion and bell peppers. Place in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Terri’s Favorite Ranch Dip
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Makes about 16 servings at 2 T. per serving
Calories: 33 Fat: 2g carb: 3g Fiber: 0 Protein: 1g
1 C. 4% cottage cheese
⅓ C. plain nonfat Greek yogurt
⅓ C. buttermilk
¼ C. Hidden Valley Ranch Dry Seasoning (or one envelope)
2 T. full fat Hellman’s Mayonnaise
Blend well in a blender or Nutribullet. Keeps for 5 days. I don’t recommend subbing any of these items. The fat in the cottage cheese and Hellman’s Mayonnaise give this dip amazing flavor and the texture is extremely creamy.

We talk about workouts and nutrition all the time.
But what happens when you don’t sleep?
Everything feels harder.
Your workout feels harder.
Your cravings can feel louder.
Your patience gets shorter.
And making healthy choices suddenly requires a LOT more effort.
So instead of asking:
“Why don’t I have more discipline?”
Try asking:
“What does my body need today?”
Sometimes the most productive thing you can do for your wellness journey is protect tonight’s sleep.
🌙 What’s ONE thing you could do tonight to help you sleep better?

Typically-Shoulders, Glutes and Core muscles are mainly comprised of high endurance muscle fiber types. So, I like to train them together… with high reps and more frequently. I have my staples, like The 3C’s for core, Shoulder press, lateral raise… but, here are a few “flavors of the week”. ✅ Bulgarian Split Squat on the Belt squat machine-I really like this for targeting the glute/ham tie ins (lower b***y), the bicycle holds with leg lift-for tightening the TA (lower abs) and bringing the rib cage in (I tried it with the stability ball in this video-and without-I liked both) 🤷🏼‍♀️, standard shoulder press with dumbbells and cable front (and side raises not pictured)… workouts don’t need to be complicated in order to be effective. Do you have a favorite core, shoulder or glute exercise? Share below-I live switching it up! 🙌🏼 .

What do you do when you need to run to the store, but you’ve got desk work to get done first? Ya put together a high protein/high fiber GIRL LUNCH HACK: iced coffee and Greek Yogurt. In the video: Salted caramel iced coffee: one cup, fair Life milk or Aldi‘s ultrafiltered milk, half a cup of espresso or your favorite coffee, 1 teaspoon of your favorite, sugar-free syrup, and ice. 120 calories, 14 G protein-yum! (Not pictured) I’m pairing this with the Ratio brand Pro fiber lemon meringue Greek yogurt. It has 20 g of protein and 10 g of fiber. This isn’t a typical lunch for me, but I’m busy and don’t want to stop to cook something right now. All in all I’m hitting 300 cal 34 g of protein, 28 carbs, 8 g of fat. 300 calories for “lunch” is not quite enough for a meal, so I will probably snack on a hard boiled egg or a cheese stick too… some days aren’t perfect, but if we focus on protein and fiber, we can keep our eyes on the target 🎯…

You don’t need a perfect workout week.
You need a workout you’ll actually DO.
This week, ask yourself:
👉 What kind of movement fits my capacity right now?
Maybe it’s a heavy strength workout.
Maybe it’s 20 minutes and the Big Six.
Maybe it’s a walk and some mobility.
Consistency isn’t doing the same amount every day.
Consistency is continuing to show up.
Your body doesn’t need punishment. It needs a reason to stay strong.
💬 What movement are you committing to today?

“You’re already breathing thousands of times every day—but how you breathe can influence so much.
Your nervous system. Your stress response. Your core. Your pelvic floor. Even the way you move.
In BREATHE, we’re going to slow down and actually reconnect with this incredible system.
I’ll teach you simple breathing practices you can use when you wake up, before you sleep, during exercise, or in the middle of a stressful day.
Think of your diaphragm like a parachute, expanding through the front, sides and back of your body.
Your breath is something you carry with you everywhere.
And sometimes, one intentional breath is the fastest way back to yourself.”

Here’s my recipe for good ranch – one cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of full fat mayonnaise of your choice. Whisk together and let sit in the fridge for at least four hours. Notes: I used ultra filtered high protein milk you can use regular milk. You can also use plain nonfat Greek yogurt. The yogurt I have on hand has 3 g of fat per serving. Also use full fat mayo of your choice and liking. I use either Hellmann’s or Dukes. Try this and let me know what you think in the comments. It’s great for dipping veggies and salads. 🥗
