SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2026 - Come celebrate FREEDOM with us at the 4th Annual Freedom Fun Run.

All races begin at Brophy Park, and end in the same location.

Enjoy the coolness and beauty of Lake Darling, Cowdry & Brophy Lake and the rolling hills of the Brophy Bike Trails on your way to the finish line!

Registration and check in will be held at the Brophy Pavilion.

Packet Pick up:

Friday, July 3rd: 5 PM - 7 PM or
Saturday, July 4th: 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM
Race Times:

7:30 AM - 10K
8:00 AM - 5K
9:00 AM - 1 mile (kids)

This event is hosted by Alexandria Community Christian School (ACCS) and all proceeds will go to support the equipping the next generation to learn, love and lead via a K-12 Christian education experience.

What a great morning we had for the 2025 Freedom Fun Run! A TRUE COMMUNITY EVENT!

Some fun stats:
*205 Runners, from:
*65 Cities
*22 States

*24 Volunteers
*23 Corporate Sponsors
*Ice cream treats provided to all 1 Mile Runners, from Alexandria's DQ (north & south), Culvers & McDonalds (north & south)

Know Before You Go

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to pick up your bibs!

Bib pick up: For those who are planning to pick up Saturday morning, note that we have about 80 more 5K/10K runners to check in, so give yourself plenty of time before your race to arrive and get your bib.

We recommend before 7 AM, unless you are only coming for the kids 1 mile. (We'll be ready for you by 6 AM.)

Kids 1 mile runners do not need to check in at the registration table unless you have opted in for a shirt. (There will not be bibs assigned to 1 mile runners.)

Parking: there is ample parking for everyone in the Lake Brophy Beach Parking Lots -- it is a very short walk to the pavilion from there.

Race Time Clarification: It was brought to our attention that the race time listed on Facebook didn't match what has been listed elsewhere. Thanks for bringing this to our attention so we can clarify.

10K Race Start Time: 7:30 AM
5K Race Start Time: 8:00 AM
1 Mile: 9:00 AM
*Awards for 5K and 10K top 2 place winners in each age group will follow the 5K.

We will have snacks and water available to all runners at the finish line!

We are so excited to host over 200 runners from multiple cities and states tomorrow! The race will run rain or shine! If there is lighting, we will do a 30 minute delay.

Bib pick up is TONIGHT (July 4) from 5-7 and tomorrow 6 AM - 7:30 AM. Location of pick up is Lake Brophy Park Pavilions (same location as start and finish of the race.)
