✨ FRIDAY FILLER EDUCATION ✨

Let’s talk about one of the most discussed words in aesthetics right now: migration.

Yes, filler migration is real. But an undesirable appearance years after treatment does not automatically tell us exactly what we’re seeing, why it’s there or what caused it.

Product choice, placement, anatomy, tissue planes, treatment history and technique can all be part of a much more nuanced clinical picture.

And nuance matters.

Aesthetic medicine is a specialized field. Great injecting is built through aesthetic-specific education, anatomy knowledge, hands-on training, sound clinical judgment, complication management, continuing education—and experience.

At GLŌ, we believe patient education should create understanding, not fear. Complex topics deserve more than buzzwords, assumptions or oversimplified conclusions.

We’d rather spend our time doing the work, continuing our education and researching our craft than worrying about another provider’s work, education or experience.

Because ultimately, good medicine isn’t about proving another provider wrong. It’s about doing right by the patient. 🤍
