Congratulations to our fall 2026 Christopher’s Challenge Scholarship Winners!

Christopher’s Challenge is excited to introduce our two scholarship recipients, Kylee Race and Lexi Hamilton!

Kylee is an Italian-American first-year PharmD student at St. John Fisher University and a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy. She is pursuing a career in oncology pharmacy, driven by a passion for patient care and a commitment to serving others. Through her academic studies and hands-on pharmacy experience, she is dedicated to improving patient outcomes and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare field.

Lexi is a pre-med student and varsity softball player at St. John Fisher University. Lexi pursuing a future in healthcare with the goal of graduating medical school and matching into a dermatology residency.

Each student will receive a $1,250 scholarship while taking on an important role in helping further the mission of Christopher’s Challenge and giving others a 2nd Chance at Life!

As scholarship recipients, they will:

* Type 50 individuals to become potential bone marrow donors
* Complete training with DKMS
* Attend Christopher’s Challenge board meetings
* Promote our mission throughout their school and community
* Help educate others about the importance of joining the bone marrow donor registry

Our scholarship recipients were selected based on their leadership potential, organizational skills, community involvement, and passion for making a difference.

We are so excited to welcome Kylee and Lexi to the Christopher’s Challenge family and watch them help grow the donor registry, raise awareness, and bring hope to patients and families going through bone marrow transplants!

This weekend, Christopher’s Challenge teamed up with T-Burg Takes On Pediatric Cancer at the Run for Gold 5k!

We got to meet some amazing people who got typed to give someone a Second Chance at Life!

Ever wonder where your donations to Christopher’s Challenge go? Today, we’re excited to share just one of the ways your generosity makes a difference!

Christopher’s Challenge donated 10 $100 Wegmans gift cards to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to help support patients and their families going through bone marrow transplants.

These gift cards help ease the financial burden for families who travel long distances, take time off work, and spend countless hours by their loved one’s side during their transplant journey.

Every donation helps us give families a little extra support when they need it most. Together, we’re making a difference and giving people a 2nd Chance at Life! 🙌💙

What an AMAZING week for Christopher’s Challenge! 💙🙌

Last week, we had the opportunity to be part of TWO incredible community events and, most importantly, typed 12 amazing individuals who could potentially give someone a 2nd Chance at Life! 🧬

We kicked things off with Drag BINGO featuring Rochester’s very own Aggy Dune at Comedy at the Carlson! 🎉 Then on Sunday, we joined the Health & Wellness Fair at Lattimore Physical Therapy—meeting so many wonderful people and spreading awareness about the importance of joining the bone marrow registry!

A HUGE thank you to Aggy Dune, Comedy at the Carlson, and Lattimore Physical Therapy for welcoming Christopher’s Challenge and helping us make a difference in our community! ❤️

Every person who gets typed is another potential match. Every potential match is another chance at life. Together, we can make a difference! 💙

We have been successful in presenting to companies and typing individuals between the ages of 18-55 who are interested in becoming potential marrow donors and giving someone a 2nd Chance At Life!

Yesterday, Christopher’s Challenge had the incredible opportunity to partner with the American Red Cross at Alfred State College to help type students and community members to become potential bone marrow donors!

We can’t thank these amazing students enough for their generosity, compassion, and commitment to helping others. By joining the registry, they could one day be the match that gives someone a 2nd Chance at Life! 🧡
