For the 15th consecutive year, we made the trek north to fish the St. Lawrence River in early spring. This year, the pike weren’t very cooperative, so we had to settle for smallmouth bass instead. 🤣

We also had the opportunity to introduce another good fishing buddy to this incredible fishery for the very first time. During our trip to Jurassic Park River, we battled rain, cold mornings, and, I enjoyed a 💯 fish day with my son.

It never ceases to amaze me just how special this place truly is! M*F’ 🎣

Jim and Bobby joined M*F for a day on the Delaware River. Mother Nature held us up a few times, but we were finally able to get out and chase some smallmouth. With low-water conditions, we made a last-minute decision to switch launches.

We dropped the boat in at 5:00 a.m. to the awful smell of dying shad and thick fog that severely limited visibility. Bobby had a knack for feeling the soft bites today. When shad die, it definitely affects the bite, but these guys pushed through and made the most of some tough conditions.

This trip will never be forgotten! I had the pleasure of hitting the river with Tom, a retired superintendent, experienced angler, and from the first cast to the last mile, it was nothing but good vibes and great conversation about fishing and education.

We covered serious water, burned through 3/4 tank of fuel chasing fish and exploring new stretches, and it turned into a full-blown adventure. The day even threw us a curveball with a flat truck tire, but honestly, that just added to the story.

Today’s highlight was watching Tom [1st time client] land his first-ever musky. That moment right there is what it’s all about … pure EXCITEMENT! 💯 📚 ⚾️

Trips like this are what make guiding so enjoyable. Thank you for supporting Myles of Fishin’ 🎣
