Can we just take a minute for the dogs that have healed our souls??

This is Leonidas, my big Fawn Doberman.

Did I set out for a big dog? Not really.

Would I get a large breed dog again? Likely not.

Would I pick him again and every lifetime? Absolutely yes!!!

I have so many women who reach out and ask how I feel so confident going on my solo adventures and doing all my hiking? The real answer is this guy.

He has given me countless hours in the sunshine, we have frolic like children in the rain, we’ve washed our worries down the river, and we have slept under the stars.

DOG spells GOD backwards for a reason 😉 🐕

Fun fact, my fella tried to help create a garden patch near our campsite on the land. But he didn’t know is he was ripping out wild blackberries instead of multi floral rose.

I know the blackberries will pop back over the fence, but now we can keep them a bit more end out and I planted some fun companion plants.
