Get to know club member, Sydney Berger!

Sydney is a sophomore at ISU this year 📚

She is interest in becoming a Registered Dietitian and working in pediatric clinical nutrition, with special interest in oncology or transplant.

Sydney’s favorite part of nutrition and dietetics club is hearing about all of the amazing things dietitians are accomplishing!

A fun fact about Sydney is that she loves running and half marathons are her favorite distance! 🏃‍♀️

Tuesday we will be having a senior panel and elections for our executive team.

Get to know a member of SDA, Priscila Benitez!

Priscila is a junior at ISU this year and one of our amazing SDA presidents!📚🍎

She is interested in becoming a Registered Dietitian and working in pediatrics.

Priscila’s favorite part of SDA is meeting new people and the opportunity to connect with professionals in the dietetics profession.

A fun fact about Priscila is that she is fluent in 2 languages!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the ISU Beef Farm Tour!

It was great to hear from Erin, an RD for the Iowa Beef council, and from David at the ISU Beef Nutrition Farm. As well as get a tour of the farm and enjoy wraps from Clayton Farms 😋

Kali is a freshman at ISU this year 📚

Kali has interest in a career as a Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorder treatment.

Her favorite part of SDA is learning about new careers in dietetics and meeting other students in the major!

SDA has an exciting opportunity to tour a beef farm!

Join us on Tuesday, April 7th.

Plus enjoy dinner provided by Clayton Farms!

Please fill out survey sent by email to RSVP and select your dinner choice!

We will help coordinate transportation from campus as well! More details will be sent out closer to the tour!

Get to know a member of SDA, Ali Archer!

Ali is a freshman at ISU this year 📚

She is interest in becoming a Registered Dietitian and specializing in gastrointestinal disorders.

Ali’s favorite part of SDA is hearing from RD’s in a variety of specialties. She enjoys hearing about their daily tasks, what got them interested in nutrition, and the advice they have for future dietitians!

A fun fact about Ali is that she has a wiener dog named Theo Michael!
