Alaska changes who you are.

Like so many others, I came here to work, serve, and build a life, and somewhere along the way, Alaska became home.

This state teaches you resilience, sacrifice, responsibility, and what it truly means to serve something bigger than yourself.

This is where I served our nation as a Brigadier General. This is where I learned what responsibility really looks like. And this is the state I’m fighting for alongside Shelley Hughes.

I believe in Shelley’s vision and action plan for Alaska because it’s centered on something simple: putting Alaskans first, strengthening our communities, protecting our future, and restoring leadership people can trust.

Alaska changed my life for the better. Now it’s time to fight for Alaska’s future together.

Today, I’m proud to introduce my running mate, Blake Gettys.

Blake is a retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General who has spent his life serving our country—not in politics, but in uniform. He brings leadership, discipline, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right.

We’re running because Alaska needs strong leadership, real solutions, and people who understand what it means to serve.

Three weeks post Inguinal Hernia Surgery and I am cleared to slowly ease into my workouts. I decided to start the C25K plan as cardio has always been my weakest part to my routine. Being born with underdeveloped lungs and living with asthma, I could make all the excuses in the world. Instead, I set goals and work hard to achieve them! These are my three days from week one! I have a couple days of rest and then start week 2! 😀
