This morning, an orange moth landed on my lipstick tube.
A tiny, beautiful reminder to stop. To pause. To notice what is right here.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend about being *adjacent to joy* — close enough to feel its warmth, but somehow not quite able to fully step into it.
Maybe it’s menopause. Maybe it’s life. Maybe it’s simply a season of rearranging.
I catch little flickers of it. Frames from another version of myself — dancing around the workshop, completely in the flow, making things without thinking about making things. That feeling of being so inside the moment that you don’t have to look for yourself.
Lately, things are being rearranged. In my body. In my world. In ways I don’t entirely understand yet.
So I’m practicing what I heard on a podcast recently:
**Flow with the go.**
Drop the judgment. Stop insisting that this moment should feel like another one.
Because if there’s one thing we can actually count on in this life, it’s change.
And maybe joy isn’t something we have to chase or force our way back into.
Maybe sometimes it lands quietly on the thing we use every morning and waits for us to notice. 🧡
