✨Custom Aromatherapy Massage✨

I’m delighted to offer Custom Aromatherapy Massage in my Clive location.

Based on your physiology and emotional needs, I will create an appropriate custom blend for topical application with up to three essential oils. This blend will be used as our medium throughout your relaxing Swedish massage. As this process requires a bit more time for discussion, consideration and creation, hands-on massage time will be approximately 60-minutes.

Aromatherapy is the controlled use of essential oils to promote balance and wellbeing in the body, mind and spirit. I am a certified aromatherapist with a decade’s worth of experience in the craft. I have personally experienced the holistic benefits of aromatherapy and am delighted to share this practice with you.

This service is ideal for for:

✨Grief support

Some changes to my offerings - MASSAGE! 🥳

I now offer 60 and 90-minute massage therapy sessions in my Clive studio.

My modalities: Swedish Therapeutic Massage; Craniosacral Therapy; Myofacial Release; Positional Release; Lymphatic Drainage Technique; Foot Reflexology; and Rocking and Pulsing.

Tools and Bodywork Available: Aromatherapy; Crystal Therapy; Sound Therapy; Reiki.

My approach: holistic, slow, gentle, intentional, deep when necessary, flowy, highly supportive.

✨I don’t do memberships and I don’t do add-on fees for a wee bit of aromatherapy or sound, etc.. I’m trained in several gentle and highly effective techniques/modalities and every session will most likely be different because we come to the table physically, emotionally and spiritually different each time. So, let’s talk about it and create a session that’s perfect for you.

✨What else has changed? I’ve lowered my price on AromaReiki. Since I’m likely not hauling ALL my gear and so many bottles and instruments around, the price can be adjusted on my end.

✨No mobile personal training at this time. But you can find me at Legacy Fitness Ankeny. I especially love working with people finding their strength, balance, coordination and those who may be sensitive to a gym environment.

✨Because my services are now offered in studio, I am open to serving all who treat me professionally. Please be aware, I have ZERO tolerance policy when it comes to uncouth behavior.

Yesterday, I had a full day of Foot Reflexology with women who either were trying it for the first time or maybe they’d tried it in the past but ALL were making the choice to devote time for themselves for various reasons and I LOVED hearing that! 💖

✨Introducing Mona’s Special - Foot Reflexology for Floral Workers✨ 60-minutes, $60

In honor of my mom, who was a floral designer and flower shop owner for many years, I’d like to offer Mona’s Special, Foot Reflexology for floral workers ($25 off my normal rate). This service is offered in my Clive location only.

My mom worked many hours on her feet, usually in a static position, designing beautiful bouquets for weddings, funerals, mothers, valentines and many high school dances. And she was a business owner. My memories of her during those years were of her being achy, especially in the legs and feet, and stressed. In time, she had to give it up for work that was friendlier to her body.

So, in honor of my mom, I would like to offer this special service to floral workers who are often overworked and underpaid for what they do. Nothing would make me happier to give back to those who work so hard to bring beauty to people’s lives and find something special in expressing themselves with flowers. 🌹

✨ I had the opportunity to give foot reflexology to my mom, who suffers from dementia. While she has forgotten many words, like the names of flowers, she said the work I did on her feet was “beautiful”. 🥲
