Nervous System Balancing bodywork sessions, as I create and offer them, have the following characteristics:

~ Done fully clothed- wear comfortable clothes , and you may be covered with a light blanket

~ Include well studied and effective methods such as Polarity therapy, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Acupressure- and may be integrated with some or all of these methods.

~ Confidentiality, Informed consent, safety honored.

~ Are within a one hour appointment to respect integration.

I have been receiving these sessions myself for more than 25 years- I am so glad for this effective and safe body of work. At times, if relevant, I man incorporate a Castor Oil Pack.

Here are some of my own experiences as receiver: Spinal release of vertebrae. Deeper capacity for breathing and oxygenation. Improved sleep. Emotional balancing. Mental Clarity. Attunement of the nervous system for self regulation. Progress for therapeutic goals. Relief of pain. These sessions are excellent for children, (Ages 12 and up) onward through the life cycle.

This is a very common herb in our area. Motherwort. Leonurus cardiaca. I have used it for years , successfully for helping clients with Night Sweats, nervous system balancing, anxiety, and heart health.

This photo shows it in the "harvesting stage", which , we use the aerial parts and not the root . A little bit can go a long way, and I prefer to tincture because a low dose of this bitter tasting herb will do the job. Whereas a tea- well- you have to drink the whole cup!

It can be a bit prickly to handle, around the flowering area. I have two more classes this summer, in which we hope to field ID for about an hour or so, within the class day. After that, KITCHEN MEDICINE MAKING series begins in September! More on that soon!!

These are supplies for castor oil pack treatments. Balanced heat is essential to how the applied process works. I've been using them on myself lately for support during a parasite cleanse.

I use them for ( clients) to address releases in scoliosis treatments, for endometriosis, fibroids, muscle restriction, colon health, liver gallbladder health, and more. For nervous system balancing.

Because I am not an allopath, I THINK AND TREAT differently and I get results they do not get.

I have offered prenatal and post natal massage for many years, after taking several professional certifications in Gainesville Florida and Ithaca New York. This is a special field honoring the whole person- physical changes and comfort, emotional and mental changes and an informed presence. The benefits of massage therapy have even assisted with fertility.

I will make post natal home or hospital visits if requested- often this is a powerful grounding experience for Mother and family.

My session setting is quiet, supportive, confidential, and safe - in my experience, 25% of my overall practice come from this group of women moving through a sacred time of life.

This is the time of year, a short window of opportunity- to look for the delicate yet very therapeutic Cleavers - Galium aparine- found in a variety of places that get some sun, often at edges of woodlands, near marshy areas, or even as a volunteer in your yard. It is NOT SWEEET WOODRUFF, and one way to Id it other than visual, is it will cling to your clothes ("cleave")

I have made a purified water mixture by blending it, and it will be strained later today. This is a supreme lymphatic cleanser, and I will look for more of it, so that I can make more of the blend, and freeze it for later. For now- I want to do my own lymphatic support!

For years now, I have taught my students about this and many dozens of other herbs, how to find, what to do, how and why it helps our health, and any caveats or concerns for any given plant.
