Nervous System Balancing bodywork sessions, as I create and offer them, have the following characteristics:

~ Done fully clothed- wear comfortable clothes , and you may be covered with a light blanket

~ Include well studied and effective methods such as Polarity therapy, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Acupressure- and may be integrated with some or all of these methods.

~ Confidentiality, Informed consent, safety honored.

~ Are within a one hour appointment to respect integration.

I have been receiving these sessions myself for more than 25 years- I am so glad for this effective and safe body of work. At times, if relevant, I man incorporate a Castor Oil Pack.

Here are some of my own experiences as receiver: Spinal release of vertebrae. Deeper capacity for breathing and oxygenation. Improved sleep. Emotional balancing. Mental Clarity. Attunement of the nervous system for self regulation. Progress for therapeutic goals. Relief of pain. These sessions are excellent for children, (Ages 12 and up) onward through the life cycle.

As always I am glad to chat with prospective clients , and answer questions.

This is a very common herb in our area. Motherwort. Leonurus cardiaca. I have used it for years , successfully for helping clients with Night Sweats, nervous system balancing, anxiety, and heart health.

This photo shows it in the "harvesting stage", which , we use the aerial parts and not the root . A little bit can go a long way, and I prefer to tincture because a low dose of this bitter tasting herb will do the job. Whereas a tea- well- you have to drink the whole cup!

It can be a bit prickly to handle, around the flowering area. I have two more classes this summer, in which we hope to field ID for about an hour or so, within the class day. After that, KITCHEN MEDICINE MAKING series begins in September! More on that soon!!
