It was a busy week for Jojo hence the late update on her scan results! All clear and looking good! She was back at the hospital again on Wednesday for hearing tests. It does seem like she has some hearing loss in the higher frequencies, a pretty common side effect of the chemo drug Cisplatin that she received. Next step will be brain stem response testing under sedation to determine the severity and whether she might benefit from an assistive hearing device. It doesn't seem to impact her daily activities and her speech and language, while a bit behind, is similar to her sisters. They are all working with early on intervention services through the school district so they will be able to help evaluate if she seems to be struggling at all in that area.
