Do what works best for you!

You don’t have to contour every spot on the usual makeup map. Choose the placements that give you the effect YOU like—and feel easy to do.

For so long, I tried to contour my cheeks, and it just always looked muddy to me. Then I tried this method and never looked back. It also depends on your face shape and your preference.

Here, I’m adding soft shadow around my forehead, defining my jawline, and blending a little contour onto my neck and below my chin to soften the appearance of sagging.

For my cheeks? I’m using a tiny bit of my Seint brightening shade for a lifted look. This color also doubles as my concealer. So you could use whatever concealer you . Tap to blend, then gently diffuse the edges.

At 65, I’m choosing what works for my face. You get to do the same.

Don’t blend away the lift you just created.

A little concealer in these three places can brighten your face and give it a more lifted look—but how you blend matters just as much as where you place it.

Instead of sweeping it all over, gently TAP to blend, keeping the concealer where you intended it to go. Then lightly diffuse the edges for a soft, natural finish.

Less product. A lighter touch. And placement that actually shows up.

Also, a cream based makeup blends so easily and looks natural. Mine by Seint beauty and it has been my go to for seven years now. If you would like a free Color Match, comment. MAKEUP

This is what I have learned-A little shift in placement can make all the difference.

As our faces change, our makeup techniques can change with them. Moving your contour or brightening highlight just slightly can help create a lifted look, add dimension, and leave your face looking softer and more refreshed.

It’s one of the reasons I’ve loved cream makeup for the past six years. It blends beautifully into my skin, giving me that polished finish while still letting my skin look like skin.

Getting older doesn’t mean we need more coverage—sometimes we just need a different approach. Techniques that work with our features can make such a difference. ✨

This contour, concealer & blush placement gives your face an instantly lifted look!

This simple hack takes the guesswork out of placement, so you spend less time blending and more time enjoying the results.

A little goes a long way! Start with less—you can always add more, and it’s much easier than blending away too much.

I would panic if I ran out of this! So I keep an extra on hand.

Have you tried the hairline powder? The easiest and most effective. I can’t even tell you what a difference this makes.

This Instant Coverage Hairline Powder by is still one of my favorite ways to stretch out appointments. A quick touch-up covers my grays and makes sparse areas look fuller—in seconds!

No fuss, no mess, and the built-in mirror makes touch-ups easy, even when I’m traveling.

It’s water- and sweat-resistant, stays put until my next wash, and doesn’t transfer onto my clothes, pillowcase, or glasses. 🙌

If your roots are showing before you’re ready to book that appointment, this little compact is worth trying!

Note: I did use the same powder to sit under my eyes. You can use a powder or a setting spray to help it to stay put! I used a blurring translucent very finely milled powder.

As our faces change over time, a few tweaks to the way we apply our makeup can make all the difference.

Placement really does matter when you’re trying to create a more lifted look.

Quick filming blooper — my contour application didn’t make it into the recording, but you can see exactly where I placed it before blending.

I use these two simple lines as a lifting guide, then keep my contour and blush above and inside those lines. Keeping your makeup in this upper area helps create the illusion of a more lifted face — and strategic concealer placement adds even more lift!

It really does make a difference in the overall look.

After years of struggling with my changing skin/face and makeup, I came across this cream foundation. That was seven years ago and it is still my go to. Combining that with these simple tweaks has made all the difference in how my makeup looks and how I feel.

Would you try this?

Contour adds definition, but adding brightener underneath gives me a more lifted look!

I used a thin brush as a guide for placement, then blended. Can you see the difference?

At 65, I’ve learned that adding more concealer under my eyes usually isn’t the answer.

When things started to change with my skin, that was what I was doing, and I’m so happy that I found some alternatives

The key is to use the less product and keep the area very hydrated

Sometimes a little pink is all I need. This one is referred to as a espresso shot for your under eyes. Pink Brightens, but it also is a color corrector.

I absolutely love this Palladio Beauty pink corrector. It brightens the look of my under-eye area without feeling heavy, and the creamy texture blends beautifully. I tap a small amount on with my finger to warm it up, then feather the edges into my foundation with a brush.

It has peptides, caffeine, vitamin E, and biotin, too. I love it so much that I keep a backup! Have you tried a pink corrector under your eyes?

Pro tip: you can mix it with your favorite concealer. What I would do in that case is apply this where that dark color is and then use your concealer on either side of it and blend altogether.

This one is an amazing price, comment PINK if you would like a link to shop.
