What a week it has been!!! Thank you all for your support and generosity.
A little more about me...professionally speaking. I became a Registered Nurse in 2009. I started in Pulmonary/Multi-system Progressive Care Unit and spent 4 years there. Then, I transferred to Obstetrics and was a Postpartum/Mother-Infant Care Nurse for 8 years. That is where my love for Lactation began and flourished. I had the most amazing mentor that never let me stop learning. Also working in an outpatient Plastic Surgery Center for 2 years during that time. In 2021, I was given an opportunity to help cover the Lactation Department and that led to a full-time position working in the Lactation Department where I met more amazing mentors. I became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and then sat for the IBCLE and passed. Jaime Stirling, RN, IBCLC! I've had the best support and business building supporters. I knew I wanted to reach more pregnant and postpartum moms and give the support, education and encouragement necessary and deserved, thus Jaime Stirling Lactation was born!

A little bit about me...I've been married for 15 years and we have 5 beautiful boys! All were breastfed! The catch....all for different lengths of time and the first two even got formula. Its amazing what a good IBCLC, support and more education will do for your breastfeeding journey. Support is paramount when your goal is to exclusively breastfeed. With my first I exclusively breastfed for 6 months and then given formula, my second was exclusively breastfed for 9 months then given formula and my third little champion breastfed for 26 months 😍, my fourth for 24 months and my fifth was for 15 months (covid and homeschooling 4 kids was mentally exhausting!) There is no right or wrong, there is only YOUR goal and YOUR journey. Mommas I'm here for you and your babies 🩵
