This morning I was tapping for heartburn. As I acknowledged the emotions that were present (discomfort, fear, a need for control)
I realized something deeper was there. Beneath it was sadness about my daughter graduating high school and heading off to college. After letting a few tears come, the heartburn softened. Tapping not only helps regulate our nervous systems, it can also bring clarity to what’s really going on underneath.
