It’s hard and most outside of the cancer community don’t understand the hard. This is why we fund research and this is why we love to fund young scientists as they start their careers. This research was originally funded by the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation when Katherine Aird, Ph.D. was early in her career. Last night, we hosted the Boston Gynecologic Oncology Consortium. These meetings foster collaboration among academic and community providers to improve patient outcomes. The agenda featured case studies novel treatments for recurrent ovarian cancer and LGSOC. It’s an exciting and important time to discuss novel & emerging therapies in ovarian cancer.

Last night, we hosted the Greater DC/Baltimore Gynecologic Oncology Consortium, bringing together healthcare providers across hospital systems to network, collaborate & learn from one another.

It is an honor to work with Dr. Bhattacharya, Dr. Randall and Dr. Tanner as the Consortium Champions.

Case studies with regard to new therapies for ovarian cancer were presented.

These meetings advance gynecologic oncology innovation and foster collaboration among academic and community providers to improve patient outcomes.
