I am going through some big transitions that I am excited about. I’m really feeling like I’m moving into a new chapter and feel an internal shift in my mind and body. As I was cleaning, I found pictures of my children. I realized how rarely I reflect on the past and think back on the time when my kids were little. It got me a little teary-eyed and then found this picture of my grandparents’ wedding invitation from 1943. Look how beautiful they are and they have given me so much wisdom and continue to give it to me. I just want to say, find time to slow down and reflect on the beautiful memories you had with with your families. The people who are no longer with us to have messages to give us, but we cannot hear unless we slow down to listen. I just wanted to send out this message in case anybody was needing to hear it.💕

“Birds fly… fish swim… children play.” 💙
Today we honored Garry Landreth during my sandtray training with a silent morning meditation together as a community of clinicians. There was something deeply powerful about sitting in silence, holding space for the heartbreak, gratitude, and legacy of someone who changed so many lives through play therapy.
Thank you, Garry, for your kindness, wisdom, gentle spirit, and for helping the world better understand children. Your legacy will continue to live on in playrooms and hearts everywhere.
You will be so deeply missed.
