We’ve been growing Mushrooms now for three and a half years. Today is our fourth Oregon Health Authority inspection for the manufacturing side.

We tried to stay humble about our grow because in the grand scheme of things it’s very small scale. Andreas, a cofounder of Satya, runs the grow operation as a part-time job. We believe we supply about 30% of Oregon‘s Mushrooms to our other Service Center partners.

These include excellent operators, such as Gather, The Psilocybin Center, Fern Love, Ripple Journey Work, Immersive Therapies, Drop Thesis, and Space Psychedelic.

We’ve always believed that psychedelic therapy should be available to people from all walks of life. Our pricing strategies reflect that philosophy.

We don’t claim to be the best growers. What we do claim is a product of the highest quality, grown with great care, and product that delivers the results that Clients are looking for.

Our Service Center in Ashland has served over 1750 Clients. So we have firsthand experience in how well our products work.

This round of harvest is focused on Steel Magnolias pictured in this post. Probably all of the this harvest will go into another blend, which will be called Melange U.

A major new study published in JAMA Network Open provides one of the most important real-world evaluations yet of Oregon’s regulated psilocybin program.

Researchers followed 346 clients at 24 of Oregon’s 26 active service centers for three months after their psilocybin sessions.
The results are encouraging:
• 97.5% reported receiving high-quality services
• 96.0% would recommend their facilitator
• 95.6% would recommend their service center
• 92.2% reported benefiting from the experience
• 81.0% said it was worth the money
• 58.6% ranked it among the 10 most meaningful experiences of their lives

Participants also reported substantial reductions in moderate-to-severe depression, anxiety and PTSD symptoms at three months.

The study also identified risks. 1.2% experienced serious behavioral adverse reactions requiring medical attention, reinforcing the importance of careful preparation, professional facilitation, appropriate screening and continued attention to client safety.

At Satya Therapeutics, we believe good decisions about psilocybin should be grounded in evidence—not hype. This study gives clients, facilitators, service centers and regulators valuable real-world information about both the potential benefits and risks of Oregon’s regulated model.

We just started our next grow cycle.

In totes, we’ve got steel magnolias.

Today we are “shaking bags” with more steel magnolias, a new strain of halo, and some space and tattoo.

So we will end up with a lot of dark mushrooms, and a lot of white mushrooms destined to be new Mélanges.

Heading into our fourth year doing this it’s very exciting as always to grow more Mushrooms.

We just launched the Satya Research Platform — Beta.

After years of providing regulated psilocybin services in Oregon, we’ve learned that many people come to us having already spent considerable time researching psilocybin.

The problem?

The science can be difficult to navigate.

So we built a tool to make it easier.

The Satya Research Platform lets you ask questions about psilocybin and psilocin research in plain language and explore answers grounded in our curated scientific collections.

🔬 Approximately 3,500 curated PubMed publication records

🧪 A separate collection of relevant ClinicalTrials.gov studies

🔗 Links back to the underlying public sources

🤖 AI that helps you navigate the evidence rather than simply telling you what it “knows”

And we're very clear about one thing:

AI is the interface, not the evidence.

This is a beta. It will make mistakes. It can miss studies, overlook findings, encounter incomplete source information, and sound more certain than the evidence warrants.

We want people to test it, challenge it, and help us make it better.

Our larger goal:

Satya takes complex scientific evidence and turns it into evidence-based tools that help people explore better health outcomes.

Psilocybin is where we're starting.

Over the past three years, we’ve had THOUSANDS of conversations with people considering psilocybin therapy.

One question comes up again and again:
“How do I choose the right facilitator?”

Most people start by comparing service centers, prices, or rooms. Those things matter, but we’ve come to believe they’re not the most important part of the decision.
The relationship between you and your facilitator has an enormous impact on your experience.

The right facilitator helps you prepare thoughtfully, creates a sense of trust and safety during your journey, and supports you as you integrate what you’ve learned afterward.

Experience matters. Preparation matters. Integration matters.

But perhaps most importantly, you should feel heard, respected, and genuinely comfortable with the person guiding you.

That’s why I wrote a new article:
Choosing a Psilocybin Facilitator: What Really Matters

Whether you ultimately choose Satya Therapeutics or another Oregon service center, my hope is that this guide helps you ask better questions and make the decision that’s right for you.

If you’re considering legal psilocybin services in Oregon, I hope you find it helpful.

A Top fear we hear from clients?

Losing control.

It’s one of the first questions people ask before a psilocybin journey.

“What if I lose control?”

The truth is, that fear is completely normal.

Many people come into a journey after spending years holding everything together. Letting go—even for a few hours—can feel intimidating. That’s why preparation, trust, and a safe environment are so important.

At Satya Therapeutics, our role isn’t to direct your experience. It’s to create a space where you can safely move through it with experienced, compassionate support.

As Dr. Bonny Koeber shares in this conversation, fear of the unknown is something nearly everyone experiences. With thoughtful preparation and experienced facilitation, many people discover they can meet that fear with curiosity rather than resistance.

Healing doesn’t always begin by having more control.
Sometimes it begins by feeling safe enough to let go.

A 25 mg psilocybin dose is not always the whole story.

Two products can both be measured as a 25 mg psilocybin serving while containing very different amounts of naturally occurring psilocin.

In our comparison, a 25 mg serving of Melange X contained approximately 28.29 mg of total psilocin equivalent, compared with approximately 18 mg for Melange T—a 57% difference.

That chemistry matters.

So can the individual person, medications, intention, setting, and support.

The number on the label is important, but it is only part of the picture.

More isn’t better. Appropriate is better.

Considering a legal psilocybin session in Oregon can feel like a big step. It should not have to feel mysterious.

Before an administration session, you have time to ask questions, choose a facilitator you trust, understand the costs, and complete preparation at a pace that makes sense for you.

Preparation is not a hurdle before the “real” experience. It is part of the process.

You can pause. You can speak with more than one facilitator. You can decide not to move forward.

We wrote a plain-language guide to what happens before a psilocybin administration session—from eligibility and facilitator fit to preparation, costs, and planning a trip to Ashland.

What matters most when someone chooses psilocybin services?

We reviewed 148 five-star Google reviews from Satya clients. One of the clearest findings was how often people described the entire process—not just the journey itself.

This did not surprise us. At Satya, we are VERY process-oriented. After supporting more than 1,600 individual journeys, we know that psilocybin services should never focus exclusively on “journey day.”

Clients wrote about:
• Preparation before the administration session
• Support during the psilocybin experience
• Integration and follow-up afterward

Compassion and care appeared in 100 reviews—67.6% of the total. Clients also wrote about safety, privacy, comfort, facilitator support, difficult moments, and the work that continued afterward.

By far, the most important choice is your facilitator.

There is no universally “best” facilitator. Choose someone whose experience, communication style, availability, and approach fit your needs. Speaking with several facilitators is never a waste of time. Those conversations are themselves a form of preparation.

A five-star review does not necessarily mean every part of the journey was easy or pleasant. Psilocybin experiences may include fear, grief, physical discomfort, disorientation, or emotionally difficult material.

What matters is that if the experience becomes difficult, you are not alone.

The central message from these 148 reviews is simple:

The experience is more than a dose or a single day.

Preparation matters.

The facilitator relationship matters.

The physical setting matters.

Support during difficult moments matters.

What happens afterward matters.

Individual experiences vary. Testimonials do not guarantee results.
