This session was all about Joy & Gratitude.
With inspo from Bag Lady by Erykah Badu we painted our own tote bags as personal reminders to hold onto joy while letting go of what no longer serves our happiness and growth. 🫀🧠

Just like the song suggests, we don’t have to carry every burden, disappointment, or fear with us.

Okay, first things first,

Get in front of a mirror 🪞 *I’ll meet you there

Starting with a prompt helps get us right into convo with ourselves but starting with a greeting is just as powerful 🗣️ *If you want to try something juicy try on “I Should” It gets me every time 😭

Next, begin talking with yourself and taking notes. This part is all about curiosity vs judgement 📝 *personally, I love having options & curiosity allows space for that but judgement is a dead end ⚠️

To close out our mirror sesh, thank yourself 🫂 *Gratitude is a play on perception, it’s not always easy and not about pretending, it’s about acknowledging what is good and well 🫶🏽

Love this so much because there’s literally no way to get it wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️ unless you’re being a total hater to yourself… in that case ask yourself “why are you being like this”? And explore all the interesting information that spills out 🤭

There’s nothing like being in a room full of women investing in themselves and each other 👩🏽‍🤝‍👩🏻

💵 The Women Investing in Women event hosted by was a powerful, educational experience centered around financial literacy.

We enjoyed brunch, complimentary headshots, panel discussions and an atmosphere that felt so empowering and welcoming 🤍
