Who will take home the bragging rights? Sheriff James Hale Jr. will face off against Watkinsville Police Chief Arwood and ACCPD Detective Johnson in a rib eating contest on Wednesday, July 15, at 5:30 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse!

The winner of the Law Enforcement Round will advance to the championship to take on the winner of the Fire/EMS Round for the ultimate Battle of the Badges title.

Before the competition, you can help make a difference by supporting our Dine to Donate fundraiser benefiting SANE Inc.

Clothing is never an invitation for r**e! So today we don our denim and stand with survivors of sexual assault. Denim Day originated in the 90’s when an Italian Court threw out a r**e conviction because the judge thought the victim’s jeans were so tight that she must have helped the assailant remove them, thereby consenting to her attack. Stand with us by posting your own pictures below!
