Johnson Construction Group is hiring a carpenter in Coweta County.

$22 to $28 an hour depending on what you can do. Overtime paid as worked.

Year round work in Coweta County and the counties around it. No travel, no per diem, no out of town jobs. You are home every night.

The work is remodels, additions, and light commercial. Framing, doors and windows, trim, and finish. You read a plan and work off it instead of waiting to be told. If you can run a couple of guys we will pay you for that.

This is a carpenter seat, not a labor seat. We already have laborers. If carpentry has not been your job, this one is not for you.

If you are already working somewhere and just want to see what the number looks like, reach out anyway.

You are not just hiring a contractor -- you are hiring everyone they know. The subs they trust, the inspectors they work with, the project manager who picks up the phone when something comes up. Before you sign anything on a commercial project, read our breakdown of what to actually look for in a Metro Atlanta GC. https://jcgbuild.com/choosing-a-commercial-general-contractor-in-metro-atlanta/ | (770) 291-4555

Finished. 🏠 Remember the Peachtree City build we shared this summer? Here it is done: an addition with its own kitchen, bedroom, bath and laundry, plus a separate entrance, built to match the house. Thinking about adding on? (770) 291-4555.

Most tenants sign the lease first and figure out the build-out cost after. That's backwards.

The gap between your TI allowance and what it actually costs to finish a commercial space can be $30, $50, or more per square foot -- and you won't know until someone runs the real numbers. Our latest post breaks down what a commercial tenant build-out actually involves: shell types, TI allowances, permit timelines, and who manages the trades. Worth a read before you sign anything.

Building a custom home is a major investment. Picking the wrong builder makes it a painful one. 🏠

Before you sign anything, there are four things every buyer should verify: license and insurance, a portfolio that actually matches your project, references you call yourself, and a contract that spells out every detail.

We put together a practical guide at JCGbuild.com/blog -- give it a read before your next builder meeting.

Building a custom home takes longer than most people expect, and that's not a bad thing. A realistic West Georgia build runs 10 to 14 months from permit pull to certificate of occupancy. Knowing what drives each phase helps you plan around it instead of getting blindsided. πŸ—οΈ

We broke down the full timeline so you know what to expect before you break ground.
