How’s your heart at work?

Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, a reminder that safety isn’t only physical. It’s psychological, emotional, and cultural.

We often think of workplace safety in terms of policies and procedures. But there’s another layer we don’t talk about enough; chronic stress, burnout, and the pressure to always “push through.”

A truly safe workplace is one where people feel:

• Supported, not stretched thin
• Heard, not overlooked
• Able to pause, not just perform

Today is a good day to ask:
What does safety look like for the people behind the work?

Something literally hit my throat out of the air… and by morning I was DOWN 😩

But instead of ignoring it, I responded immediately—and recovered in 48 hours.

Here’s what helped me reset:

1. Hydration (electrolytes + ginger juices)

2. Rest (yes… actually resting)

3. Nourishment (soups + protein support)

4. Detox support (baths + steam)

5. Gentle movement (when appropriate)

April is Stress Awareness Month, and today I’m pausing to ask a better question:

Am I overwhelmed… or just used to carrying too much?

Stress doesn’t always look like chaos, sometimes it looks like silence, tension, or “I’m fine.”

Take 60 seconds today:
• Unclench your jaw
• Drop your shoulders
• Take a deep breath
• Tell the truth about how you feel
