Tomorrow I will be joining clinicians, pathologists, and oncology specialists in Atlanta at The Westin Buckhead for the APE | APO Conference: Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Cancer Care — in partnership with City of Hope Cancer Center.
This one-day CME event brings together thought leaders from Emory, Northside Hospital, Morehouse School of Medicine, University Hospitals, and City of Hope to tackle precision oncology across a wide range of tumor types, including:
- Breast cancer biomarkers and emerging therapies
- Lung cancer: biomarkers, targeted therapies, and panel discussion
- Colorectal and prostate cancer precision medicine
- Novel therapies in acute leukemias
- MRD in myeloma
Topics like real-world elacestrant data in HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer and translational prostate cancer solutions for high-risk populations are especially relevant to where oncology is heading — precision diagnostics tied directly to clinical decision-making and health equity.
As a clinical pharmacist with a background in pharmaceutical industry strategy and pharmacogenomics, these conversations sit squarely at the intersection of where I work and what I believe matters most in advancing patient outcomes.
Looking forward to the dialogue, the science, and connecting with fellow professionals pushing precision cancer care forward.
