My youngest daughter’s prom… my 4th and final prom as a mother 💙✨ what a beautiful labor of love and a true blessing to experience yet another one of her “firsts” with her.
I allowed her to fully express her creativity, and this time I just went with the flow. Yesterday was her very first time wearing makeup, lashes, and styling her hair like that and she looked absolutely stunning. I’m so proud of her. She’s been working hard in school and has been consistent at her first job , so it meant everything to us to make this moment special, meaningful, and unforgettable.
Now listen… this journey to the dress was NOT easy 😩The first dress got sold. The second one got lost in transit somewhere in Tennessee. The third one from California? Completely wrong 😠We were literally down to the wire with no dress by Friday but I kept the faith and knew we would find something that matched her vision.
And then… THANK YOU TikTok 🙌🏽Anaiah found boutiques in Duluth, and babyyy she was RIGHT!
Huge THANK YOU to Nadia’s Boutique in Duluth, GA 💕They found her PERFECT dress in less than 5 minutes! After one try-on, we were out the door with exactly what she envisioned 👗✨
I even repurposed her closed-toe wedge heels—painted them gold and added gold glitter… and they came out PERFECT 💛
Yes, we forgot a few things at home in the rush (flowers, handmade shawl, jewelry 😅), but none of that mattered… because WE GOT HER THERE. ALL PRAISE IS DUE TO ALLAH!
MI FAMILIA… WE DID IT!!! ❤️✨
Special THANK YOU from Anaiah & I we love and truly appreciate each and every one of you for your support, love, and presence:
