One of the myths clients might believe about hypnosis before working with us is that it's supposed to deceive you or distract from what you're feeling. What it's actually doing is helping you become more aware and accepting of what you're feeling. How can they be sure it will work?

🎧 Encourage them to listen every day. The hypnotic suggestions will do the "work" for them, helping train and calm the nervous system in preparation for the road ahead.

I didn't originally plan to create a whole hypnobirthing curriculum, but when I did, it changed everything. I created it because:

📌 The text-heavy materials I was teaching with before were exhausting to work with. I was burned out by the end of every class series, before any babies had been born!
📌 I got tired of having my constructive feedback ignored.

✅ With HelloBirth, we love listening to our instructors and their ideas! It makes HelloBirth so much stronger.
✅ We loved creating the visual appeal of the HelloBirth materials. Easy to learn, easy to teach. A lot less burnout.

Have you ever felt like hypnobirthing instructors are the "birth language police"? 1️⃣ Positive language definitely has its place, but hypnobirthing can be too flowery. 2️⃣ The tone set by your client's class might leave them feeling disappointed in themselves after their birth. That's the last thing you want to see as their doula. 3️⃣ Not all classes are created equal. Some emphasize relaxation without truly preparing clients for a range of possible experiences.

HelloBirth was born to address these concerns! We take a practical, accessible approach to science backed hypnosis techniques and balanced educational content with space to explore the language that feels best for each individual. This often leads to happier, more supported clients!

💭 Myth #1: Hypnobirthing is only for natural birth

👉 HelloBirth hypnobirthing supports all kinds of birth—hospital, home, medicated, unmedicated, induced, and even Cesarean (planned or not)! There are tracks provided to support a number of different needs and experiences. Hello! 👋 We've taken a little down time lately in order to focus our current HelloBirth instructors. In partnership with .hive 🐝 we are launching some very cool business support. We are still here and thriving, and HelloBirth students are still rocking their births! Allow us to reintroduce ourselves and announce our 2025 instructor training: save the dates for Oct. 22-25, 2025 🗓️

Four days over Zoom with the HelloBirth co-founders and

1️⃣ First we will lay the foundation of what hypnosis for birth is and is not, our philosophies and goals as an organization, and best practices for teaching.
2️⃣ Day 2 we will begin learning the HelloBirth student curriculum and teaching guide in depth with time for small group work and practice teaching.
3️⃣ Curriculum review continues!
4️⃣ Curriculum review wraps up followed by support and discussion around building or expanding your childbirth education practice.
