I’ve been in my feelings all day. All I know is she was here and now she is not. Sharon, you will be missed. The little mighty woman who gave it to you straight .. no filter! You were so pure and raw and I loved you for it. I still remember the first time we met and I called you Shannon one too many times and you looked at me with those eyes … like only you could and said “oh shannon is not here. Who is that? Because MY name is Sharon.” And I was on the floor! Well you’ve left your mark. SHARON was here! Well done sis … well done! Repost from

These are the words that Sharon used to described herself and she lived up to every one of them!

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you, our Beautiful Baddie Sister and Baddie Ambassador Sharon has gained her healing on the other side.

After her stage IV diagnosis, Sharon created “Thriving IV Life” an online blog where she shared the raw, honest and uncensored parts of her cancer journey.

Sharon also had a passion for helping young adults by providing resources for mentorship and education. For someone small in stature, Sharon surely had a mighty stance making sure she lived her purpose fully here with the time she had.

She was involved in FTBOU monumental campaigns: and . We are thankful to have been blessed to know her, laugh with her, advocate with her, and leave a mark on the world as sisters. She will be missed💞

This unfortunately is one of the hard things we are faced with in our community. However, let us be reminded of how this community has not only changed our lives, but also the lives of others who did not once have a community for support.

We ask that you keep her family, loved ones and especially her daughter Carter in prayer as they navigate this tremendous loss.

The Ambassador team is hurting today at FTBOU. Please wrap your arms around us as we process our grief and memories of Sharon.

And with every breath I breathe, I commit to live out his purpose for me as a SUPERTHRIVER. I will speak for those who don't have words to speak and for those who are still developing their voices.

October 1 means so many things to me these days. It’s the beginning of Oct-TOVA, the month that I celebrate the gift of life. My birthday is on October 15, which is also (shameless 🔌) the same day as Inaugural sneaker ball. But it’s also the first day of month or . As I reflect on this photo, it reminds me of the journey that my Breast cancer experience offered me. When I see this photo, I see growth, strength, and purpose. I’m here for a reason and so are you. I truly believe that we don’t find our purpose. Instead, it’s revealed to us. Are you still enough to hear or see yours when it’s revealed to you?

For the Breast of Us has partnered with as our Fiscal Sponsor for this amazing event. All donations are tax deductible.

This year, we'll be giving 5 breast cancer survivors, scholarships to help the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
