GRIEF AWARENESS | 😔
For those with aphasia, grief can be a very real companion. However, unlike the grief from the death of a loved one, ambiguous grief will rear its ugly head from time to time.

Ambiguous grief is a feeling of loss for something that's still living, often called "living loss." For example, most people with aphasia grieve the lives they once had, and caregivers often grieve the person their loved one was before the event that left them with aphasia. For more information on ambiguous grief, read our latest blog post 👉 https://loom.ly/lpNZosw.

For those who are new, we have three Aphasia Readers books designed to provide readers with different levels of practice available for purchase on our website 👉 https://loom.ly/7yeDu_k and Amazon.

📖 LEVEL 1 (BEGINNER): For someone early in their recovery, and is compiled of short sentences with mostly one-syllable words for read-aloud practice.

📖 LEVEL 2 (INTERMEDIATE): For an intermediate level of practice with longer sentences and more two-syllable words to challenge the reader.

📖 LEVEL 3 (ADVANCED): For an advanced level of practice with longer sentences and two to three-syllable words.

📝 All books have customizable sections and detailed illustrations designed for writing practice.

🎁 A portion of every book sold gives back to help those with aphasia afford speech therapy and also creates aphasia awareness.
