“Owen-Petey wasn’t just my dog; he was my heart, my best friend, and my partner in bringing joy to others.
From the moment I brought him home, he filled my life with love, comfort, and laughter. He had such a calm and gentle spirit that he became a natural therapy dog, visiting local elementary schools and working with children in the autism community. Watching the way he connected with them—bringing smiles, comfort, and confidence—was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.
Losing him has left an emptiness I can’t put into words. The house feels quieter without the sound of his paws, his excitement, and his warmth. There are so many little moments when I still expect to see him, and then I remember that he’s gone.
Having something that keeps his memory close brings me comfort. It reminds me that his love, kindness, and the joy he gave to so many people didn’t disappear when he did. The love he shared continues through every person whose life he touched.
Owen-Petey will always be my heart, my comfort, and my best friend. I will carry his memory, his love, and the happiness he brought into my life for the rest of my life.”
