Most commonly characterized by difficulty swallowing, eosinophilic esophagitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the esophagus that often impacts people who have other allergic conditions like allergic rhinitis, asthma, or food allergy.

During National Eosinophil Awareness Week and on World EoE Day, learn more about this condition and the role allergists play in the diagnosis and treatment.
