A couple of years ago I began a lifelong journey to be healthy and thrive. It started with getting serious about what I allowed into my body through my mouth. However, the more educated I became about how toxins are introduced into my body and causes huge health issues, I realized that it is also about every thing I put on my body and in my atmosphere. Therefore, I began to switch to cleaner, nont

oxic beauty products and household cleaners. I began to understand how very important it is to be involved in spreading this education and promoting a healthy lifestyle not just for myself but to everyone. This journey has spread from cleaning up my food, to my atmosphere, to my beauty routines, and all the way to my health practices. This page be a platform for clean recipes, fitness, DIY cleaners, DIY natural health, DIY body products and MOST IMPORTANTLY EDUCATION! I had to be a person outside my house today. :) I’m slowly becoming a day walker again and feeling like myself…though majority of the time I’m a hermit in the house still unpacking, getting organized, decompressing, and working on being Sonya again. Today I went to a fundraising banquet for a friend’s nonprofit that serves underprivileged kids in our community so I had to get presentable for the outside world. Here was my Farmasi look for the evening: CC Cream, Midnight Touch Bronzer-Blush-&Highlighter (love them, they’re like Tarte’s Tape products), Lost Lagoon Eye Palette, Eye Brow Mascara, Double Lash Mascara, and I mixed BB Glaze Lipsticks in Black Cherry and Pink Beige. Soon I hope to have the bandwidth to be creative again and start teaching and sharing on here. I have had so many ideas on things to teach, share, and show you guys….but first I’m “practicing the things I preach” here and will soon invite you on that journey with me.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here between quitting my corporate position and packing up NC to move back to GA. It’s been a crazy ride that hopefully will settle out soon and I can get in the groove again. But, tonight is my parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary and we went out as a family to celebrate so had to dig out my makeup bag that I haven’t seen in quite some time.
